Picnic at Marble Hill

After 7 amazing years, PICNIC at MARBLE HILL was cancelled in 2016,

because of restricted access to the picnic site during reconstruction of the main Residence.

The planned relocation to Basket Range was postponed by the storms,

and it has now morphed into the Basket Range music & wine Festival .

But watch this space. Picnic at Marble Hill will return.

Information will be posted here when details are confirmed.

Picnic at Marble Hill, 2009 - 2015, was an annual one-day food and wine festival held on the grounds of Marble Hill, bringing together a select group of like-minded, innovative Adelaide Hills winemakers and food producers against the romantic backdrop of the heritage listed gothic residence.

The cool, high-altitude, central region of the Adelaide Hills around Marble Hill was once a bustling hub of orchards and market gardens, which were devastated by the same fire that tore through Marble Hill in 1955. Today this region boasts an increasingly influential presence of renowned boutique winemakers and food producers, who represent a modern interest in traditional farming values and methods - small-scale, local, community-minded and artisan.
